The ECB50AE is a microprocessor-driven tracer that allows three types of troubleshooting – circuit breaker identification, wire tracing in walls, and wire sorting
The included transmitter module generates a custom coded signal that is injected into a powered AC line
The microprocessor-enabled receiver wand uses this encoded signal to reject noise and correctly identify the right circuit breaker or wire
The receiver wand also includes a sensitivity control to further increase noise rejection and make positive identification easier
The ECB50E is rated at CAT III 300V for general residential, commercial and industrial use
