Controlled Environments Company (CEC) was established in 1996 to service the emerging microelectronics, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in Ireland. Providing a complete end-to-end solution for customers operating in controlled environments, our scope includes cleanroom fitout and furniture, consumables and equipment supply, and accompanying cleanroom service provision. Having forged relationships with the world's leading manufacturers of cleanroom products CEC is now a recognised expert in the industry.
Over the years the company has continuously improved the service level provided to our customers and the creation of an in-house technology arm in the early 2000's was a critical milestone. Disrupting the traditional methods of consumable supply, a range of accompanying e-solutions such as vendor managed inventory (VMI) systems, online portals, kanban, vending and laundry management programmes, have been developed creating major efficiencies for our customers. Competency in this area gives CEC unrivalled advantage in the industry and ability to quickly roll out existing proven technologies, or develop bespoke tailored e-solutions for our partners.
Through our offices in Asia, we have significant sourcing ability ensuring cost leadership is possible across almost any category of product. This capability once again sets us apart from others in the industry, enabling us to deliver substantial cost savings to our customers time and again, while ensuring quality is maintained through our expert teams on the ground.
Our customer base is something we are extremely proud of, made up of thousands of companies at the forefront of the pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, medical device, and life science industries. This diversity of client portfolio has developed our expertise in all aspects of cleanroom control from Class 1 to Class 100,000 grade cleanrooms, sterile to non-sterile environments. Through our years of experience dealing across these industries we now supply over 90,000 relevant products and have solved countless problems for our customers.

CEC now employ hundreds of highly skilled individuals worldwide, with offices in seven countries and customers across three continents. We conform to ISO 27001 for information security management and are working on achieving the relevant certification.
