CEC were delighted to be an awards sponsor at this year's Life Science Industry Awards, which recognises and celebrates excellence in the Life Science industry, across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and laboratory markets.

We were proud to sponsor the Excellence in Health and Safety award, which highlighted companies that demonstrated best practice in the areas of health and safety, compliance to standards, training and technical & behavioural improvements over the last 24 months. Congratulations to the 2023 winner, Pfizer Ringaskiddy, who excelled in this area to win the coveted award.

We were also thrilled to sponsor the Supply Chain Achievement award, which recognised organisations that had implemented a secure supply chain and logistics strategy. Congratulations to the 2023 winner of this award, PTC Therapeutics, who were recognised for their achievement in implementing an innovative supply chain model for a unique gene therapy product for an ultra-rare disease.

This supply chain model was praised for being patient focused and required multiple stakeholders with highly specialised capabilities to deliver the product directly to pharmacies in selected hospitals just in time for scheduled surgeries.
